St. Benedict Robotics Team

Throughout the years, we have mainly participated in BEST Robotics Competitions. BEST has helped us grow in so many ways; teamwork, communication, learning how to share our work and all we've learned, etc. This year, 2017-2018,  is our first year to branch out and participate in VEX Robotics Competition and FIRST Robotics Competition. For the VEX Robotics Competition, we were given two grants in order to from two teams that would compete. For the FIRST Robotics competition, our team was mentored by Christian Brothers University's Dr. Paul Shiue, students, and faculty as they took us as a rookie team to the competition in Huntsville, Alabama. The FIRST Robotics Competition was the largest most competitive competition our team has ever been to and was a true eye opener. Our team will now be working towards competing in more FIRST competition throughout the years.
